Inspiration

I can't remember where I ran across Kristen Everberg's work originally, but I love limited palette, subject matter and style. She has worked with images of the case study homes and other historic images. The painting below was taken from Andrei Tarkovski's film Ivan's Childhood. It is a still in a montage of what appears to be stock footage of abandoned and ruined spaces toward the end of the movie. My personal favorite of Tarkovski's work is Andrei Rublev. That movie haunts me.
